Dr. Paolo Rinaudo is a specialist who cares for patients with fertility concerns and problems related to endocrine function or hormones.

Rinaudo conducts research on embryo development before implantation and the long-term consequences of in vitro culture (growth outside a living organism).

Rinaudo earned both his medical degree and doctorate at the University of Turin. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale University, followed by a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Rinaudo has received many prestigious honors and awards, including a reproductive biology grant from the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and a presenter award at the 50th annual meeting of the Society for Gynecological Investigation. He is a member of numerous professional associations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

    Dr Rinado was friendly and says "thank you so much". However, I just didn't feel comfortable around him or feel assured during the egg retrieval process. I asked a question post procedure, and he was quick to dismiss.

    Dr Rinaudo has monitored and made changes to reproductive health treatments, monitored lab values and ultrasounds, and made treatment decisions based upon the utmost attention to detail in overseeing my care.He informed me of the reasoning behind his treatment plans and answers all my queustions and is exceptionally nice and informative.     Dr. Rinaudo is an incredible physician, and I have been under his care for the past 6 months and his decision making and treatment plan have been 100% in my best interest and best possible outcomes for a pregnancy. He and his staff are a well run part of the reproductive endocrinology department with excellent communication.

    Visit felt rushed. Overall, I didn't feel fully informed about next steps. For example, I had to ask if I would be placed on medication which I would be. Taking time sensitive medication is a huge part of the process that I would expect my doctor to tell me up front. I wouldn't have known to ask If I didn't do my own research about the procedure online. I also needed to get blood work done, but that order wasn't placed for me. I had to ask the team to place the order the next day. Lastly, this comment applies to the team - there's inconsistency in information provided in their email vs the pdf documents that are provided which makes understanding instructions, next steps, etc very confusing.

    Overall very good experience about procedure day. Everything went very smoothly and every person interacted with is very friendly and professional. Since the operating doctor is different than treatment plan doctor, and not a choice of the patient, hard to determine whether to recommend doctor or not.
